Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how QuizaacOMR (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when teachers use our Android app and web dashboards (the “Service”). The Service is for classroom teachers only.
Information we collect
- Account data — email address, name, school name, and password (stored hashed).
- Classroom data — classes, rosters, exams, answer keys, scores, and sync metadata you create.
- Scan images — photos of bubble sheets captured on your device; graded proof images when you upload scans.
- Device & technical data — app version, API requests, sync logs, and crash diagnostics when enabled.
How we use information
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Run OMR grading, class records, and sync between mobile and web.
- Provide support and improve reliability of the Service.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
On-device processing
The Android app performs optical mark recognition on your device. Scan images and grading data are stored locally until you sync or reset the app database. You control when uploads occur (including Wi‑Fi-only settings).
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We use infrastructure providers (for example, cloud hosting) to operate the Service under contractual safeguards. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the Service.
Retention
We retain account and classroom data while your account is active. You may delete OMR data without deleting your account, or permanently delete your account as described on our account deletion page.
Your choices
- Access and update profile details via the app or web Profile.
- Reset local app data in Settings or delete synced web data from Profile.
- Delete your account in-app (Profile → Delete account) or on the web Profile page.

Children
The Service is intended for teachers. Student names and scores may appear in rosters you manage; teachers are responsible for obtaining any required school or parental consent before entering student information.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
